The upcoming Samsung Unpacked event on February 1st is highly anticipated for the reveal of the new Galaxy S23 smartphones, but it is also expected to showcase the new Samsung Galaxy Book3 laptops. According to leaks, there will be a powerful Galaxy Book3 Ultra and at least two Galaxy Book3 Pro notebook models.
One of the most notable changes in the Galaxy Book3 Pro is the increase in AMOLED panel size. Instead of the Full HD panels with 13.3” and 15.6” diagonals seen in the previous models, the new Galaxy Book3 Pro will feature 14” and 16” variants. However, this will only affect the height of the panel and not the width, and the resolution will now be WQXGA+ with a squarer 16:10 ratio.
The Galaxy Book3 Pro will also feature the latest generation of chipsets from Intel, specifically the Core i5-1340P. There is hope that there will also be a Core i7 option for those who desire more power from their ultra-thin notebooks.

In terms of size, the leaked information suggests that the Galaxy Book3 Pro will have a weight of 0.87 kg, or 1.92 lbs, which is the exact same as its predecessor. The dimensions are also similar, at 30.44 x 19.98 x 1.12 cm, with the main difference being a reduction in the bottom bezel.
Other specs include 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, Windows 11 Home, and a 120Hz refresh rate for the screens. The Galaxy Book3 Pro will come in Beige or Graphite color options.
